Join US for Trans Day of Visibility – A Day of Community Power & Celebration!

Live In Your Truth, in partnership with Maryland Trans Unity and Trans Maryland, and sponsored by The Montgomery County Pride Family, is thrilled to announce TDOV: A Day of Community Power & Celebration on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Montgomery County Pride Center, 4805 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814.

This year’s theme, “Trans Joy; Then, Now, forever”, is about authenticity as resistance, community, joy, resilience, and strength of trans and gender-expansive individuals. This powerful day will be filled with intergenerational communities, bringing together trans folx, allies, and organizations in solidarity and empowerment.

This year we celebrate the Transgender Day of Remembrance and Resilience (TDORR) in the new Bethesda location of MoCo Pride Center for the first time.

Walk through our transformed Pride Center for a trick-or-treat haunted house experience.

Queer family movie night fun
From 7–8 PM, enjoy a spooky screening of Rocky Horror at the Pride Center with popcorn, snacks, and community vibes

Spooky, inclusive storytelling

Dr. Maddie reads a children’s-appropriate spooky book to celebrate queer authors, community bonding, and the magic of literacy.

Affirming, creative, and stylish
Led by our sewist-in-residence Sam-Mayes (they/them). Bring your costumes for alterations or explore our donated collection to customize a new look.

Community education & conversation
In partnership with The Personal Care Foundation, this panel will unpack myths around domestic violence, offer resources, and open up space for dialogue and healing.
