Location: Remote with mandatory in-person events in Montgomery County, the DMV, and Baltimore.
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour for 15 hours per week

Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time contractor to join our team as a Marketing & Events Coordinator! During this 3-month contract period, you'll be working on live events like Montgomery County Pride In The Plaza, LIYT Nights & Drag Duels, The 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration, Black Girl Magic Stories ,the MOCO PRIDE show, and more.
Responsibilities:
Develop creative multifaceted marketing campaigns that spread the word about our advocacy programs
Manage all social media channels with engaging content that gets people talking
Utilize an extensive video library to create daily social media posts
Design eye-catching promotional materials for our amazing events
Be part of the action by providing onsite support at special events (set up/breakdown activities, staffing booths, and managing volunteers)
Stay ahead of the game by researching current industry trends in marketing event planning
Requirements:
A fun-loving attitude and genuine passion for supporting intersectional Black, LGBTQIA+, and IPOC underserved communities
Experience in event planning marketing or social media management is preferred but not required - enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
Must have access to reliable phone and internet during work hours
